The workshops are technique workshops from powerlifting coaches. Just checking on form, getting some pointers and testing 1rms. Just out of interest. You seem like you’re enjoying crossfit?
I feel like an old lady today
I deadlifted 70kg x 3 yesterday at the PTC dead and OHP workshop. I tried for 80 but couldn’t budge it off the ground… tbh though I think I psyched myself out of it! Squat workshop in 2 weeks - really looking forward to it!

Some bad DOMS from training yesterday. I was still sore from the previous session (hamstrings from the deadlifts), but went ahead and did the session yesterday anyway.
This was from yesterday. My glutes are sore today. Yeah!
Squats. Used the rack today - so there was a bit of extra weight just in the bar itself, haha.
Warmup set with just the bar.
15 reps 20kg
12 reps 30kg. Haha. Couldn’t finish - bit much of a jump there! Sore hammies made it hard to get low enough too. I’m still figuring out how to set up the rack - next time I’ll set it lower - it was a bit hard to get it off properly.
Pushups
15 reps 2 sets. I can only do about 6 push ups from my toes, so I did the whole sets at a 35*? angle using a bench (alternated with seated cable rows).
Seated cable rows
15 reps 41kg
15 reps 49kg
Step ups (alternating sets with prone jackknife)
15 reps 2 sets 7kg dumb bells.
Prone Jackknife 8 reps 2 sets
Inc. warmup and stretching it took 49 mins, and my polar said 366 calories burned.
Normally I find it hard to eat 1900 calories (all clean food) but yesterday I was starving.
